10th Cambridge Folk Festival
Ginny gets a pair of tickets to the Cambridge Folk Festival. She and Steve travel there in Jon’s VW camper van. They meet up with Matt Parker, Gary Lewis’s partner and Tom, the owner of the Solstice bookshop. Steve hears Jed Morgan play and Jed, with his eye on Ginny, hitches a lift back into Cambridge with them. Jed is a veteran guitarist, teacher and former session player. He is the author of the Jazz guitar tutorial that Steve buys in Miller’s in Sussex Street. The group eats at Waffles in The Kite and then they all go back to Tom’s flat over the Solstice bookshop.
