Florence "Flo" Hodges

Flo owns The Croft, formerly a lodge connected to Wyvern Hall. She is Peter’s great-aunt, a former civil servant, and a wartime member of the Wrens. She has a gammy leg and is described as tall, imposing and still attractive (“Puttenham Junction”).
Flo is brisk, humorous, maternal and socially authoritative. She is rarely intimidated and often sees through other characters’ evasions.
